Problem:
There is a non-systematic approach when it comes to parking along side the road. Car owners, when on errand or some personal meetings, tend to just leave the car or on hazard to be able to finish the deeds. Shop owners located at the side of the road even taught that the front part wherein their store was located is for them to use as a car parking space for their customers which is not the way it supposed to be. Some store owners even ask for a parking fee giving them an additional income by using the Government part of the road. 4-lane highways became a two-lane road that slows down the traffic flow.
One main problem with this kind of approach is that there is no income inventory that can be use for the benefit of the Baranggay and Local Government Unit and can cause too much delay on traffic flow that is in effect of thousands of pesos of income supposedly in use for the programs ahead of time.
Concept:
By using a mobile application in effect of generating a plus income for the Local Government is the key in solving these traffic scheme of road side parking. Through a systematic parking approach, lanes that is supposed to be use to better flow the traffic will be enhanced.
Timed Parking Scheme Concept is one of the best way to end this dilemma of roadside parking and at the same time, will generate an income for the Baranggay and Local Government Unit. As such, traffic flow will be as smooth as possible as the lanes can be use by motoring public.
Income came from this scheme will be use by the Baranggay for their programs hence having their own budget for any possible emergency situation.
Mobile Application that shall be use with this concept will be explained further through PowerPoint presentation.
The Transportation Department of the Local Government Unit must make a liberated ordinance concerning the Road Side Parking. Towing is not a solution hence giving a way for the corruption to manifest.
